First of all, thank you for reading my poem. :)

Love poems always interests me and baffles me at the same time. At the same time, I regard love poems the hardest to write simply because it is so hard to be...original. Many poems I've read talk about things the same way and it becomes old. Also love poems are better unrhymed in order to make the emotions flow freely.

The emotions in your poem are powerful and raw. But to transfer those emotions unto paper into a good poem is the hard part. Some use too much details and become confusing. Though your poem is clear and easy to read and to relate to, it lacks poetic sensory.

    Here's an example:
    Something so fragile,
    So breakable...
A heart is like a wandering cub
    Sacrificed to men for love.

    Yet their ungrateful nature
    Held my heart like trash-
Threw it into the angry waves
To die and drown of sorrow.

Then he rose from the raging waters
    And captured my heart.
    So beautiful and truly dangerous
Too soon yet I loved him.
