Do you remember?
When we were little
We did everything together
Nothing else seemed to matter
Each memory is like a photograph that will never fade from our hearts
Do you remember the lake?
It was always our favorite hiding place
To get away from the world
I remember the time when you tried to scare me
To fall in the water but your plan failed since I had you
In my grasp
We both fell in laughing and splashing

Do you remember we always use to star gaze?
We would always look up at the stars
Each time it was just a beautiful sight
You kept looking at me with a smile
You pointed out that I had stars of my own
The twinkle of the stars could never shine brighter
Than the twinkle in your happy eyes

Do you remember the festivals?
We always went to the spring festival
We went on each ride more than twice
We screamed and laughed on each time
You would always hold my hand so tightly during the
Haunted house
I would giggle while holding onto you to protect you

Do you remember the picture booth?
We would always make silly faces
Sticking our tongues like we don't care
Sticking bunny ears behind each other's head
Wrapping our arms around each other smiling silly

Do you remember the first time we tried to dance together?
Yeah we though, hey let's go dancing, it looks easy!
We were so wrong
While everyone was dancing formally
We were trying to get the hang of it
But then when you step on my foot
I step on yours because it just caused me pain in the foot
But then when we were trying to step onto each other's feet
We actually spun and began to dance correctly with a spin
Everyone was clapping
While we were smiling

Do you remember the place where we watched fireworks?
We both knew it was private property but we still sat there on the hill
Each one of the fireworks made the sky more beautiful
It even revealed your smiling face
But remember on the first fireworks together alone
You were trying to tell me something
I was very confused
But then when you said those three magic words I Love You
The fireworks went off and our lips just brushed so lightly
It was a beautiful night to remember

Do you remember during thunderstorms?
On thunderstorms, you always protected me while I was shaking with fear
Lightning revealing my tear stained face
You always sang me a song to get back to sleep
You would always keep a candle flashing
Telling me everything will be alright
Nothing to be afraid of

We were always there for each other when one of us was in danger
We never broke any promises... always kept a secret
We were there for each other, that is one thing that will never change
We went from friendship to love
