Ticking

by Amerasian   Apr 10, 2008

As life’s time tick by,
I think of the good times.
You are all that comes to mind.
You helped me to be happy,
To feel loved,
Then you threw it all away.
The ticking goes faster,
As I shorten my own life.
The cigarettes shorten my breath,
The blade drains my blood,
The pills decay my stomach.
Did I deserve this death?
The death of a broken heart?
As the ticking slows to a stop,
I breathe in my last breath,
Only to see you with her.
