She Said She Call

I talked with her last night, we only talked for a few minutes but at least I got to hear her voice
Before she let me go she said she call

I waited for hours; I waited till I passed out from my sleep deprivation
I remember what she said, she said she call

I finally fell asleep, but I clenched my phone tightly to my chest
Repeating what she said, she said she call

I woke every hour on the hour, checking my phone but still no call
She said she call

Many days turned into weeks, a couple weeks into months
i still got faith, she said she call

Did she forget, no that can't be I trust her with all my heart
I'm sure there's a reason why she never called
