Final Breath

by An Angel in the Darkness   Apr 11, 2008

A dreamer lost at sea,
Calls out all too desperately.

A window looks out across the broken shore line,
An unforeseen sign.

In a haunted wood a fallen angel cries,
Lays down silently, and dies.

A razor blade shines in the evening sun,
A broken girl whispers to the world, "I'm Done"

And a mother cries,
As her daughter dies.

A broken heart,
That had been shattered from the start.

A darkened soul,
A life that is no longer whole.

So on her face is a fake smile,
As she goes through her final trial.

So there's her final breath,
And now is her death.
