The boy left wondering..

Time goes by another day,
the boy stands there, a darkened haze.

Confused, dumbfounded, left alone.
whispers in a silent tone.

Eyes glassed over, cheeks burnt red.
Tear stained sweater, never again.

Hands with splinters,
Broken arm

Dreams left shattered
Chest of scares.

Mangled clothing,
Hairs a mess.

A dog to guard him,
the boys best friend.

Parents no where left in sight.
Child wondering through the night.

No where to go, no place to stay,
Left wondering yet another day.
