Looking For Shelter With Others In The Rain

by Soulful Ensemble   Apr 12, 2008

What is so beautiful is that you can always die
And with the shot of a gun be gone.
Nobody will remember yesterday in tomorrow's sky
But tomorrow will throw you a stone.

Every stone that falls like rain
Will give you a new reason
To yell loud at all the pain
That comes with every season.

And every reason has its season
But how can I explain?
You've never felt the treason
Of having nothing to gain.

Don't walk in the dark rain
Its best to take the train.
Not for fear of water
But to avoid decay.

Looking for a hiding place
You might find some holes,
But don't worry for the space
Of things you cannot hold.

A High School Is Just a shelter,
Shielding from the hurricane
And saving lives from fire
Running down the mountain bed.

If you try to bring a friend
Make sure he's real prepared
Or you might be a little spent
After looking so impaired.

I'm sure everyone can sing the blues,
Like the king's men dont wear shoes
To the parade of Doctor Seuss;
They've read too many stories
To balance on one foot for you.
