How It Should Be

I see this girl I know so well smiling at me.
Her skin, her looks, her touch intoxicating as can be.
I love her so much but she does not love me back.
What is it looks, personality, or humor do I lack.
I would change anything just for once chance.
Just one song, and one little dance.
To be close to her and to tell her how I feel.
I open my mouth to tell her, and another chance they steal.
For me to tell her the ache in my heart that she causes everyday just from her looks.
I would give her a massage or carry her books.
i would do anything just to have her wake up next to me,
For the rest of my life, so her and me together it would be.
