Justification! Why?

by vaibhav shah   Apr 12, 2008

You say
I must justify
What I deserve
I must clarify
What I argue
I must verify
What I detect
I must defy
What I dislike
I must rectify
What I err
But why?
Is it a compulsion
Or merely a proposition
For nobody likes
These bloody suggestions
Which appear to them
Only and only coercion
My life is not
A property of others
I will do only
What I like
What I love
What I feel
And what I think
You have no need to grumble
Please try to become humble
Improve your own disposition
And leave me to my own confusion.

This is a very good, angry and amazing poem. So much feeling...and...just amazing! Very good! You are getting very good at expressing feelings! The only thing I have to say is this:

'You have no need to grumble
    Please try to become humble'

these lines kind of worry me, I see that you wanted it to rhyme--but take care not to do it at the expense of a poem. As of now, I have no idea on what you can do to fix it, other than take it out, but if I have an idea I'll contact you.
    Very good poem!
