A brand new day a brand new year
to finally realize why i am here
a chance to show my smiles still there
and to let all my dreams be true somewhere
this means i can escape from the pain
now i am prepared to face the world again
i wont have a reason to constantly hide
as i will have all my friends right by my side
i still wont pay attention to what they say
i refuse to live my life their way
so what if they drink some fight, that doesn't make them any stronger
in fact its just making their life shorter while mine is getting longer
lets just hope this feeling lasts
it has never worked in the past
but one day i will be happy just wait and see
