Sunrise (491)

by NinjaGirl   Apr 13, 2008

The day is come
Dawn, the sun
From beyond the trees
And the hills and the skies,

The day is here,
Risen near
Above the hills
And the clouds and the skies,

The sun has risen
Like yesterday
But soon it will set
And be gone, away,

The sun has risen,
Like a spark
Of love, of hope,
Of memories that fill us with sweet stuff,

The day has come
Just like my hope
That you will finally love me
Today.

But then the sun will set
And be gone will the flame,
Away,
Far away,

To a land of cold, icy hills
And rocky mountainous regions
Of places where there is no hope,
No laughter, love or light,

But the sun will rise once more
And so will my hope
That you will finally see
Who is really me,

And maybe, just maybe
You will fall in love
Just like me.
I'm in love with you,

And the sun
Will always be the one
That lifts my spirits high
Whenever I want to die,

Not you,
Until you realise
How much I really love you
But.. that would be impossible

Because you're so much better
Then I
Because your days are bathed
In bright, bright sunrise.
