Every Time You Run

by brie kelly wise   Apr 13, 2008

Come on Allie, let's leave this town behind
There's nothing left here for us to find
We haven't made a mark so why should we try?
Because days like these I wish we weren't alive

Oh you know they'll love us anyway
No matter what we took away
No matter if we leave today
Oh you know they'll never miss us anyway
I know they never wanted to remember us this way
I know they wouldn't care if we leave today

This whole town is full of fake statues
We want to touch the ground but they taught us not to
I know we'll be out of here soon
But I'm tired of counting every different colored moon
