Portrait of Megan

by brie kelly wise   Apr 13, 2008

I'm screaming louder than you'd ever expect to hear
I'm taking down paint that's faded away over the past year
I guess I take this life down the road
But sometimes this old heart of mine can't stand leaving home

I'm whispering to him from two states away
No wonder we never got to talking yesterday
I guess it's time I leave Georgia behind
But it always seems that old portrait of Megan stays in time
