Unique Dream

Every night as I peacefully lay drifting away asleep
I have a unique dream
As I dream on...
I find it to be very typical
As always it' the same one I had the night before
And the ones that are sure to follow
As usual
It involves you and I and
The single barrier that stands between us
A kiss
As the night goes on
I dream that
I get closer and closer to your lonesome lips
My desire grows and finally
At the brink of my surrender
I get what I have always wanted
The moment we shared was filled with passion
Neither caring nor stopping
For anything at the moment
In which I held your body next to mine
And as it always happens I get carried away
The moment feels so real
So unique that only I would know
I wake up the next morning
Wishing I hadn't because
I know that when I get back into reality
I miss you
And more importantly
I don't have you
Nor never will.....
So I just dream on....
Wishing that maybe
Just maybe
This dream that I always seem to have
Turns into reality
And you could just
Feel what I feel in that
Unique Dream....
