Taking stock in China

by Iola   Apr 14, 2008

You are breaking away; finally loosening your ties
No matter what you say; China won't silence your cries

Tears formed beyond the skies; pour down with sad demure
Not hearing any lies; when the water you drink is impure

Running off-shore in vain; painting your trip with denial
Up in a lonely airplane; you feel relief for awhile

China town is dancing; alive with the possibility of hope
Each dragon entrancing; their spirits elope

Colored lint swaying; passing your ears like a whisper
Silently praying; for each wound, each stab, each blister

Finally together; in a magical town made for stranded lovers
I will love you forever; folded safely into red silky covers

Our Ching contaminating; bonding two souls into one dimension
Taking stock is fascinating; taking stock retains my full attention
