Empty Space

Her heart is broken. Her words unspoken. Her tears are saying everything that needs to be said; all these thoughts and feelings running through her head.

She's so tired of pretending everything is okay ---> her tears are showing as her smile fades away.

Sitting there lonely and sad, remember all the things they could have had; Sometimes she wonders if she's chasing an pointless dream as her tears flow like an endless stream.

She never tried to be perfect, just good enough for you; but no matter what she did there was nothing she could do.

Closing her eyes to disappear; she prays her dreams will leave her there.

You couldn't feel the pain even if you tried, you couldn't feel the tears that she has cried. There is no way you could ever know how hard it was for her to let you go.

Too hard to fake it, nothing can replace it. Each day is like the last missing someone from her past; now its just an empty space where something used to be, she guards the gate but it seems shes lost the key so no one enters but no one leaves.
