Bittersweet Trust

by brie kelly wise   Apr 14, 2008

I hear you're turning everyone against me for the sake of your heart
But I really don't care if it hurts that I belong in someone else's arms
I'm sorry it had to come to this, love

I knew you would try to make things better but it isn't working
I loved you, Quentin, but this is about pain and it's hurting
You never should've doubted me, love

You always said no matter what I could pull through
Those words would've meant something if I could believe they were true
I knew I never should've trusted you, love

I now plan on escaping and leaving this town behind
Of course, I'm waiting on you to chase me and pull me back in line
But maybe you're taking your time, love

I know what this is about
It's about control
It's about taking back everything we once said
It's about how we used to love what we had
And hun, most of all, it's about trust
Oh that bittersweet trust

I like it, well done. its really good and i liek the repitition of the word love at the ends. that works well.
