Midnight

by ForbiddenSnowflake   Apr 15, 2008

I fear the darkness of my dreams,
Where I have no voice,
And cannot scream.
As the figures take my breath,
I feel that to me they unleash their wrath.
In ghostly white and deathly black,
They creep in my dreams to begin their attack.
Mind games they play with noises and lights,
As midnight goes by I awake with a fright.
My heart beats through my chest,
I can still feel the presence of the spirits of unrest.

Great poem, i found this on accident and loved it because i actually study dream patterns and their meaning in my spare time. did you know that only 100,000 people in the US experience lucid dreaming.
