Ironic much?

by she   Apr 15, 2008

Below her bible, lies her razor,
crazy isn't it?
deep inside his homophobic mind are hidden thoughts of rainbows .... and guys,
insane isn't it?
the, oh, so, righteous emo hater, goes home to lie in a bed, with empty beer bottles hidden underneath it,
ironic, much?
so do you see, nothing is as it seems.
innocent faces are simply grown from hiding to many secerets.
righteous men, only became from locking the door to their skelotons.
and those who judge, are only trying to build their confidence, with each knife they throw at anothers ego.

This is a great poem and you are absolutely right about everything you have said.. it is so crazy and ironic how nothing is ever as it seems anymore.. you may think you know someone inside and out, but the reality is that it is all fake and the true them comes out only behind closed doors...

    my favorite lines was..

innocent faces are simply grown from hiding to many seceretes.

That makes so much sense! .. the only thing is you spelled secrets wrong - take out the last E. But that sentence was beautifully written.. people try to hide what they should be guilty of - so they put on an innocent face and act all innocent - amazing job.

I love the style you wrote your poem in - the flow it had and the "crazy isnt it?... insane isnt it?"

It really made the poem a lot more interesting to read. I really enjoyed this. 5/5 =)

  • I absolutely love this poem, it is one of those poems that make you think about life and I love those! :) Great job... and oh so true, sadly enough :)

This made me laugh (i know, that wasn't the point, lemme explain) because the world is so gone to hell....but it's just so ironic. and those of us trying not to be called hypocrites are the ones being critsized....it's terrible, the way this world works.
the poem is simply outstanding. very very relevant...
