A Singer, A Writer, and A Guitarist

There's a poor broken soul, a girl with big eyes
Their wide and puppy dogged when tears they cry
This broken hearted girl sings a stream of sad songs
She knows that everytime she looks around
Everything seems to be going wrong
Her melody is always sweet but sad none the less
She wants nothing more but to be loved
Feel the endless bliss
Her voice is amazing, like angels of a hymn
She's not quite sure her dreams will come true with time

There's a depressed writer who detaches himself from the world
He watches the singer, tries to keep her from getting hurt
His stories keep him from doing stupid things
And sometimes all he wants to do is watch the poor girl sing
He sees the pain within her eyes
He tries to tell her it's all ok
But he knows that it's not, there never seems to be a brighter day

There's a boy who thinks nobody cares
He does nothing but play guitar and sit there
He knows this poor girl looks at him and sees someone she loves
He wonders why the writer isn't who she holds above
He knows she doesn't want the writer sad, he knows she tries as best she can
He watches as she tries to make the writer happy
Meanwhile he sits and watches feeling crappy
He sees the look in her eyes
He knows he's the reason she's cried

There's a group of three laughing
Singing, writing, playing
Her words flow all around
His writing causes feelings to drop to the ground
His playing fills a quiet room

Her face is no longer broken and sad
He is no longer depressed, but simply glad
He rocks out knowing that, things have a way of working out, unplanned
One day they know that they'll have someone to be with
Together hand in hand
But of course, they'll still hang together
Laughing, joking, looking back and not regretting a thing
In the end it will all be alright
And no one can stop them from solving their fights

A beautiful singer
An amazing writer
A rocking guiarist
All caught together
All intertwined
In a Life that is simply just blind
