Until Eternity

by Sora   Apr 15, 2008

The wind silenty blows through her hair,
As tears streak her cheeks in mere darkness.
How could she forget?
Forget the admiring face she knew so well.
Or the secrets he told her, that she swore never to tell.

She takes a step forward and bends her knees,
As if begging him to forgive her.
For the visits she had promised to make,
She wanted to be there, but she was too late.
He's deep in the earth now, and happy as can be,
Then she wishes, so was she.

Silent teardrops fall onto his grave,
And it's his life she wishes she culd have saved.
If only she were there,
There to say good bye.
She takes a deep sigh, and realizes she's drenched in rain,
Something to match her devestating pain.

The feelings she had for him were undeniable,
But never did she tell.
It's true, she did love him so,
But that'll be the longest story never told.

Now, she places a damp rose upon the ground,
And hopes the place he was looking for, he has found.
She'd give up her life to bring him back,
Because everybody deserves a second chance.

He was her hero, someone she admired for so long,
But it's so hard to believe he's actually gone.
Maybe it's his face she can't see,
But his love will live forever within her, from now until eternity.

Ashlei.
