We Walk

by jack   Apr 15, 2008

Through the frail gate
lies words of love
compassionate tears fall
the heart still beats
surging blood around

desolate and tall
the gate still stands
holding crimes
and woeful stories
nonjudgmental and free
it bears all

the gate holds all
with no key
we open it
into the unknown
we walk
