Drowning in my tears

I hear the waves crash along the rocks
i feel the sand squeeze in between my toes
the cold ocean air stings my cheeks
tears burn trails down my face

i can't see
I'm freezing
water closes all around me
i can't breath
everything goes black

i awake to the sound of sirens
I'm in a car
i still can't breath
it feels as if my heart is being ripped from my chest...

it's just a dream

I'm lying on my back
the water screaming in my ear
I'm alone
I'm drowning in my tears
