Honestly

by brie kelly wise   Apr 16, 2008

I followed you into your room at the most crucial moment
I try to let go but there's some reluctant grip between us
I'm so evil I laugh you cry, which is why we called off the end
I know I shouldn't but I can't help but not understand
What we ever saw in each other

I'm sorry we had to learn how to let go all of a sudden
I'm sorry we had to start doubting each other
Every time it's you in the middle we ask why we bothered staying around
But don't you just love how it sounds?

It's all somehow on me and I love it that way
Maybe I can always be up for blame
Screams were never perfect for a story before this
I guess it all started when we lost ourselves in a messed up kiss
I know you're wondering what we ever saw in each other, too

I'm sorry we can hear each other too loudly all of a sudden
I'm sorry that doubt turned into regret too soon
Every time it's us together we ask why we never stayed around
But you gotta love how it sounds
