Death

by hummingbird   Apr 16, 2008

I have lived the life and now I pray for the day to come for me to die, I have been battered and torn till my soul drown all its meaning.
You were the light of my world but with time that light deemed, I gave you so much of me for free that you only had to say it and your will be done.
Now on me it has all tumbled down, the sad truth has hit me in the face that I am so disgraced that I was blinded by the thing that is said to set a man free.
All has been forgotten and now I have become humbled I wonder if he would just let me be, for at least in death I will be free.
