Leaving Me

What am I going to do?
You are leaving next year.
You don't know how much you have meant to me.
I can't even imagine what it will be like when you leave.
I don't know what I will do without your friendship.
You have always been there for me,
even when you are upset too.
No one else does that.
I don't want to lose our friendship.
But I guess that's the way it is,
when your best friend is older than you.
They go off to college and their life,
and leave you behind.
I just don't know what I will do,
without you there for me.
When I am crying,
When I am excited.
Who will I tell?
I don't know.
All I know is that I will miss you so much.
You have meant so much to me.
