Two-Way Street

by brie kelly wise   Apr 17, 2008

Blindness and false truths
Are all happening on my way to you
Close enough to realize
That nothing will happen tonight
But I want to hear you say
Something that will send me to that place
I just love how it's strung out to you
And it's all because we created something new

Dangling on a balcony, twenty stories high
Son, you know you're going to die
You can't see me but I'm crying
I just don't know why you've given up trying
You already know I'm losing it here on the ground
Now that you're happy you're not around
And all this time I've just wanted to get through
That I was fed blindness and false truths all for you
