I'm hoping for tomorrow with the thoughts of yesterday,
entangled in my feelings years have yet to take away
You're smile holds me close to you,
I wonder if you'll ever see
Beneath the surface of your fear,
your heart was made for only me
your kiss still lingers in my mind enticing me to need you more
Your words still written in my thoughts hoping its not like before
I'm taunted by the emptiness I feel when you're not by my side
knowing that the day will come you'll no longer feel the need to hide
