Orchid Lady - You live in me

by Orchid Man   Apr 18, 2008

The haunting melody of you; lies in your clear green eyes
Upon your hair, your brow, your cheeks and liquid mouth
Indeed it lies upon your face and beckons in your enchanting smile
It also lies within your heart; a melody so vibrant and unique.

As you speak the lingering lyrics of your voice stir fantasies in me
My body aches to hear you speak in ways known only to my heart
No word has been penned nor has a composer aired your melodies
Only you my love hold me spellbound with your captive lilting voice.

I touch your hand and feel through you the stirring of my want and needs
How sweet the measured sonnet of your beauty engulfs my very soul
Like birds in spring signalling their various chirps of nesting wisdom
My love readily responds to every tender word you speak only to me.

Within a nightly dream; God gave me the chance to find you once again
To rekindle a deep burning sense of happiness unparalleled by man
When you appeared my beating heart was stilled, held captive of time
Pausing only to await your signal then restart its journey of loving rhythm.

Orchid Lady no words I place within this text of these my thoughts.......
will ever shine more brightly than the stars high in the sky above
They will never touch, nor stem the ever-moving journey of the daily tides
But hearing you speak does justice to my very understanding of your love.

Only the incessant march of time will ever lessen the passion of my love
No mortal man of any era could ever claim to possess that earthly power
The love I seek lying warm within the vibrant depths of your symphony-like being
Is new; enchanting; crisp and cool, like water flowing down a mountain waterway.

The gift of a true want is required to encompass the unique love we share
Souls can entwine themselves in desire only through the giving or receiving of love
My darling Orchid Lady, real love is ever turning like the sails of a spinning windmill
Ever durable when fanned by the winds of hope; trust; desire and truthfulness.
