Prom night

I went to the prom party,
i was dumb listening to wat he had to say.
My Name is Becky and I'm here to tell u my sad story,
that night i felt great nothing but glory.
we were all drunk laughing having fun,
little did i know this is the night wen hell begun.
as i got up i couldn't walk,
he was sitting on the chair watching me like a hawk.
he smiled at me with his blues eyes all glazed,
we were all out of it put in a daze.
he came and kissed me and whispered in my ear,
"lets go for a ride... lets get outa here"
we staggered towards the door,
He grabbed a beer and said "just one more"
I smiled and shook my head,
I wish that i could have changed my mimd.. change wat i said.
he opened his car door and said get inside,
being so drunk did confide.
we blasted up the music while we mobbed the town,
he had to much to drink he was swerving around.
I yelled out "slow down your going to fast"
the next thing i knew we were in a ditch our car crashed.
looking over at him barely alive,
praying to god for me to survive.
before he died he looked at me wit a sorry face.
it was prom night i wasn't suppose to be put in this place.
i wish i could rewind .. take it all back
i wouldn't be sitting here dieing that a fact.
the sirens are coming fading away
i wish that i could live to see tomorrow or the next day
but i know i cant so so i have to say goodbye..
i wish i could tell my loves one to be strong.. not to cry
i am beginning to get cold .. I'm falling fast,
just because one mistake.. my life has to pass
So my name is Becky and I'm here to tell you not to drink and drive..
you don't realize how lucky you are to be alive.
