Starting over

by XxSweetSuicidexX   Apr 19, 2008

She was a teenage girl says the curling irons, blow dryers, cotton balls, make-up and nail polish in her bathroom;
She was an athlete says the gloves, cleats, and spikes on her bedroom floor;
She has a bright personality says the colors of her pillows, bedspreads, stuffed animals, and curtains in her bedroom;
She has a lot of friends says the table piled with birthday gifts;
She lives with her grandparents says the antiques and collections in the house;
She spends some weekends with her mom says the suitcase in the corner;
She has younger siblings says the toys in the toy box and the clothes on the floor;
Her dad is absent says the empty chair at Christmas Time;
He was never there says the lonely nights and the upset children;
She was looking for a better place says the school and the meetings with ones close to her;
Her new life is like a new day in the spring time says the flowers outside and the fresh air;
In the beginning life was rough,
She's starting over now.
