Ugly Girl

by StandStill   Apr 20, 2008

Razor blade hearts
words kill her inside
behind false smiles
an ugly girl hides

Horrible girl
so dead, without care
doesn't matter to any
deadened, blank stare

Cold marble eyes
with a shattered glass heart
how quickly a blade
tore wrists apart

But crimson is pretty
when it's done right
and with a painting
numbness she did fight

Somebody caught her
now she sits so alone
with a shattered glass heart
melted down to stone

Wow gabby. i love it, can relate to it in many many ways. but one thing i know for sure is that you are not ugly loves. not in any way at all

I am in awe of this poem. I love the word crimson instead of saying blood. that was very creative. when i read this i had a picture painted in my mind of what this girl looked liked. and poems either paint a picture or inspire feeling with in you and you did it here very well written.
