A lack of color

by StandStill   Apr 20, 2008

Black and white lines,
colors disappear,
and into the greyness
driping diamond tears

A colorless chasm
yawning so wide
where angels and demons
play seek and hide

But color is action
breathes life into air
but calmness, serenity
to find peace, do we dare?

Who would need chaos
in a black and white land
a place where I could have wings
I wouldn't need feet to stand

So paint me a place
where there's no color, no fear
but please, make it quickly,
before I'm broken by razorblade tears

"If you feel discouraged, and there's a lack of color here, please don't worry lover, it's really bursting at the seams, from absorbing everything.."
