Not to be

by Evee Taylor   Apr 20, 2008

Is there such a thing as a heart
That can be ripped in two, yes I think so
Mine has been rendered and wrenched
Torn viciously and cowardly apart

So little my feelings were meant
Could be screaming and crying, do not care
His own vanity nay sanity dictate
That what we was all dreamt

Sat here all alone and not sure where to go
Can I mend myself and new seeds sow
Time can only tell and time is such a friend
Here I wait, not change things but they might bend

Laughter and giggles to fill the day and chase that regret away
Look into the sky and fly with the clouds, feel relief
Turn and look at life with a new feel, a new deal
do not look back only ahead, turn a new leaf
