Falling

by BJ Miller   Apr 20, 2008

Every time I see you I get the butterflies,
Almost have to cover my eyes.
Hide my disguise!
Becoming my inner being without seeing that you might like me
For me.
For me?
For me!
How is that real?
I cannot feel your love,
Cannot breathe with you, cannot be with you so I feel you
In my dreams.
You are the only one with the string to sew my heart back together
At the seams.
At the ripping, tearing seams.
Where the love drip, drip, drips out onto the pavement;
The blood a perfect mismatch to the snow.
And I am falling,
Falling,
Fallen for you.
