Death before dying

by StandStill   Apr 21, 2008

Memories float away
on this cherry blossomed wind
desperation to forget
leave behind when i sinned

But these constant reminds
these little scars
remind me I'm not an angel
and I'll never touch the stars

These pallid words
that mean nothing at all
amplify my hollow life
broken after the fall

A trustless existence
oh, please, what's the point?
just a faceless somebody
who didn't pick me, but picked a joint

Death before dying
wonder how it's gonna be?
I wonder, I pray
that you'll cry when I drown in this sea

Again another attracting title... I love the last stanza, the second one is beautiful too, it sorta sounds like me
