She Will Never Be Alone

by fazidah   Apr 21, 2008

She was not alone
That's what they said
On that roadside near the bridge
When the moon was dark
And the light was off
And the road they walked on
Was gloomy, indeed

And suddenly they arrived
In a small blue car
Without warning
Like thunder
Grabbed her defenseless body
Her scream wouldn't scare them away
And her dreams scattered just right there

Together we pray for her,
They pleaded.
For God will listen and care
And may she comes home safely
And her soul stays calm and easy
And so we did pray
And did God listen and care
For she was found in piece
Although yesterday had lost in a mist

I heard her breath
Hard and uneasy
Her eyes opened widely
But its light was no more to see
She kept on silence
But I heard her heart cried
For all the dreadful images
Repeatedly illustrated in her eyes

She was in pain, I knew
The blooded wounds, the bruises and sore
Yet no one could see inside
All the turbulences she tried to hide
She screamed, she cried and cursed
Yet her broken heart could not be cured
She kicked, she punched and burst
Still, she couldn't passed the sufferance

The roadside is never been quieter
The broken bliss of our yesterday
The men was seized
The charge that they won't miss
(They should never be released!)
We prayed again for her to move on
And that she will never be alone
