No More (Dedicated to Denis D'souza Ma Late Fren)

by Prasad Baadkar   Apr 21, 2008

The carcass that was a smiling flower yesterday
sadly reminds me today
that it is no more
it's fragrance is no more.

I feel the same when searching for,
the identity of a long lost friend of mine
Looking for him in every crowded spaces
I find the face no more.

Still I shall remember the face
As I remember the faded flower
Even if for all they both are dead
They will continue to live in my heart forever.

I will light up the flames of those sweet memories
Keep their fragrance burning in my eyes forever
Until one day I too will fade
& be no more.

(Dedicated to Denis D'souza, Ma Late Fren)

"The carcass that was a smiling flower yesterday
    sadly reminds me today
    that it is no more
    it's fragrance is no more."
=> This made me cry. If you once taste something sweet you will always remember it. If I would not have ever love someone so much I would be happier about some love what is not so powerful... But when you taste something so good it will only make you feel sad later...to compare it.. How lucky are the people who never lost the taste of sweet love...they don't know what have missed...
