Then you surprise me

by Ares   Apr 21, 2008

We dance to the music of a broken violin,
nothing really turned out how we had planned,
our dinner got burned and the movie was bad,
disapointments were hanging in the air.

but then you suprise me with a turn of play,
you grab me buy the waist and smile,
how could you possibly had a wonderful night,
when the only thing that worked was time.

then you surprise me like a twist of lemon,
a grin big and revealing of pearly whites,
I ask you how you could have enjoyed my mistakes,
and you answer,

"it just feels so damn right, doesn't it?"

yeah, it does.
