We'll Walk the Eternal Road Together

by Em   Apr 21, 2008

It's fear, And I understand you my dear
Doctors say you have cancer
Just another word for your early death

It's fear, I can sense it my dear
You are soon going to die
And they can't do anything for you

My dear, it's nothing to fear
Death is just another step
On this silent road of eternity

My dear, I did never sense fear
And that led me into my death
And regrets will haunt me forever

Fear, I know it's hard my dear
You were always so lonely
And just needed a helping hand

My dear, why do I still sense fear?
Please understand
That I will be there 'til the last breath

My dear, please don't fear
I am going to meet you
I shall take your hand and walk with you
Until the end of the road

*The thought of this poem was that her lover was on the other side, still loved her and were willing to take her in his arms*
