The heart cry of christ.

by Lovesick 4 Jesus   Apr 21, 2008

The darkness painfully smothers them
as millions cry out in deep grief
naked and ashamed, they are torchered
their bodies can find no relief

If i had trusted, they scream
and responded to the voice within
if i would have loved my maker
instead of wickedness and sin

Flames burn their skin in hatred
in this place they never die
eternally punished and beaten
these demons dont care if they cry

"Father i long for these people"
i want to make them my own
"My son, i am broken as you are"
but this is the path that they chose

"Day after day i called out to them
and in the night i kept them awake
but it was their will to refuse me
they so blindly accepted this fate"

I desire that none should perish
so bring me your heavy hearts
my promise is to draw you to me
and forever i'll set you apart
