Perfection

by the dancing dreamer   Apr 21, 2008

Who can compete with perfection?
Something to perfect for words;
Perfection so wonderfully sickening
You cry every time that it hurts.

Perfection so caring and humble,
You wish there was something wrong;
Perfection you hear in her voice
As she sings the words of the song.

Perfection deserving of love,
But will turn it away for a friend;
Perfection that cares for others
Until she reaches her end.

Perfection everyone sees,
Most people choose to ignore;
Imperfection befriended by her,
Saving the soul of a w[h]ore.

Perfection is the shell
To hide the hurt inside;
Pain building up and drowning,
She wants to run and hide.

Perfect angel of heaven,
Sent down here to earth;
Remember to live and love,
Give your soul rebirth.
