Mommy,
I wasn't so perfect
isn't that a surprise!

Mommy,
I was hurting,
But you remained in ignorance,
Because you refused to open your eyes

Mommy,
I was grieving the loss of my brother and my innocence,
All I needed was a hug,
But instead you turned around,
And said that I wasn't enough!,

Mommy you never saw how FREAKING hard I tried to meet your expectations!
I even went so far as trying to slit my own wrists!

Mommy,
It's not your fault,
it's mine,
I just thought you should know,
Because of you,
The razor now controls my life

    Hey,
    I thought i'd return the favour of your comments. Wow, i could have related to this about 4 years ago, i thought my mum was turning her back on me when i was cutting, i thought she never cared when in reality she wanted me to turn around & ask for her help. She's not perfect & neither am I... It's not worth trying to live up to others expectations because they will 99% of the time be unreachable & we'll just keep getting hurt.

    It was really well written. =]
