Eyes

Eyes are the portals into each of our souls,

they show what we're feeling what we're going through and more.

they display acts of pain, anger, & sorrow,

tell of our tale, what we look for into tomorrow.

they show what they feel for & long to embrace,

& what they will accomplish at their own steady pace.

eyes are the mirror into our emotions,

constantly moving and changing like the ocean.

they hide the truth behind the lies,

some dark as night others bright as the sky.

they hold the beauty contained within,

& see through all the worlds sin.

eyes show love, compassion, & care,

see through the bad things knowing its not fair.

eyes reveal the deepest depths of our minds,

the thoughts, needs, wants, all of it combined.

eyes that hold fear,

will soon dissapear.

eyes that hold faith,

will survive through all the hate.
