Hiding you...
the fog formed a Veil,
yet, I tried to reach out
But to no avail..

With love in my eyes,
and a Life to share,
thought you would notice
but you hardly cared...
Hardly cared....Why???
Because I am not Beautiful??

Dreams of varied color,
with you I had sown,
but sandcastles get washed away,
I should have known...
washed away....Why??
Because I am not Beautiful??

In the stillness of night,
Your voice I sought,
A Stone- cold silence,
is all that I got...
Silence....Why??
Because I am not Beautiful??

I stood against all odds,
took a path unknown,
but still I can't stand up,
to the fact, I am left alone...
Alone....Why??
Because I am not Beautiful??

[This is a work of frustrated mind...
I am fed up with the fab surrounding beauty and glamour
I got so frustrated that I simply penned down whatever I felt...

In the poem, the fog and veil refer to the idea of beauty that has formed in people's mind which does not let then see the fact that - Even is someone is not Beautiful they have the capacity to Love...]
