My Sweet Omar

There's something I have to tell you, Something I want to say.

Through all the years we've had together,
Sometimes good and sometimes bad.
Teased each other off and on,
It's the best life one could ever have.

I don't want you to go.
At least not that far away.
Although I know life has to change
I just didn't want it to end this way.

What I'm telling you is
That I love you so.
And I know there is nothing I can do about it,
I must let you go.

*This is for my brother Omar....who is moving overseas to Lebanon* I will miss him so.

    Salaam Salwa :) I understand it is hard to let someone we love to go away.. There is always this pain we won't be a part of his life we used to. Maybe we also scare someone would replace us in his life.

    And we can not hold someone's back when it is time to go.

    All our brothers and sisters will get married or move away etc.. Only person who could be beside us is a spouse of our life.. And always stories would have a happy ending...people divorce and break up..

    So that's why only thing we can rely is Allah. Love Allah sister. Love Allah by all your heart and then you will find it easier to let people come and go..

    Touching poem, it seems you love your brother alot and i know how you feel. long time ago my brother wanted to go out the country and i was so depressed for that but then he changed his mind at the final moment
