Finally Happy

Her heart had been broken
In more ways than one
She had been in love too
But she had that taken from her
And she never thought
That she would never "like"
Anyone ever again
But then he walked into her life
And everything changed
He made her feel special
Something she hadn't felt in a long time
He called her a sweetheart
And told her she was beautiful
He asked her why she looked so sad
And she told him that she wasn't
Now that she had meet him
She told him that she loved the way
He made her feel
How she felt that he would do anything
To see her smile
And that she hoped that they would stay friends
For a really long time
And then one night he called her
He said "Sweetheart I really like you
And I want you to be happy
So will you please go out with me"
Of course she said yes
And she has never been happier
She just hopes and wishes
That this will stay this way.
