So Far Away

by Isabelle   Apr 23, 2008

Sometimes,
it's hard to say sorry,
when you know it's not enough,
but you know,
something is better than nothing.

In a world of immaturity,
we were together.

They told you things,
they never made sense,
soon your brain took over your heart,
and without a warning,
you left.

I miss you,
so bad.
I miss you,
and now you are so far away.

What can I say,
to make it any better?

What are the words,
that you crave to hear?

I want to say I'm sorry,
sorry they said so many things

Sorry that they laughed at you,
sorry that they got to you,
and most of all,
I'm sorry you never realized how much I cared.

I never got even tell you,
never got to once say...

I love you,
because I could never find the words.

Simply being around you,
made everything better.

Like morphine,
you made my pain go away,
and in my dreams,
you tasted so good,
but I never got to.

I never got to say,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
you meant so much.

Now what?

I see you walking,
right toward me,
I want to say,
everything that was on my mind,
but nothing comes.

Wishing for you to read my thoughts,
never did me much good.
Wishing for you to stay,
didn't do much either.

I know you never meant to,
you didn't know of my pain,
and you didn't know,
because I was silent,
and now you are so far away.

Even when you are right next to me,
you are so far away from me,
and nothing,
nothing at all,
can bring to back to me.

This is the price I pay,
for never once saying,
you mean everything to me.
