Reality slowly started to unfold

Perfection was lost
Words became sweet memories

All i ever heard was "I'm sorry"

Long nights of sore eyes
Tears full of pain from crying
My heart was blackened & shattered
Completely invisible to the fact that i was dying

We failed at what we created
You left me to hurt alone
After that agonizing experience
I realized life's tough & i grew some backbone

You shattered any dream of mine
That real love somehow still existed
We only keep searching & trying simply because
It's the closest thing that we have to magic

We're forced to believe in something
That only in books all true love prevails
When most of us give everything we got

Eventually has to end
