Goodbye my almost friend

by TheReign   Apr 23, 2008

I believed in you,
I laid all my love in your hands.
I gave my all to you,
But nothing seems to matter of these broken bands.

So constant the silence is nowhere else but here.
Doing this to yourself and everyone you’re deceiving.
I miss you my friend, holding you so near.
But of a better day I will always be believing.

Hurt yourself, and you’re hurting me.
It force us long,
But I dare to enter your ecstasy,
To show you destructivity is wrong.

To kill and demand,
To crash, burn and break.
You carried sorrows through this land,
And so the smile you gave were fake.

I tried so many times to hold you back,
To help and guide you,
To lead you to the right track,
But you never let me to.

And I am sorry for believing in you and me,
I am sorry for thinking of us two as friends,
The dream about us will forever be,
But this is how this story ends.
